I am Associate Professor at Unical since 2015. Prior to that, I was Senior Researcher at the Department of Computer Science (Oxford University).
My main interests are the fields of Web Information Retrieval, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, and Databases. In particular, I focus on their intersection and integration to powering innovative information system applications in a broad range of fields. I have published more than 35 articles in leading peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, such as WWW, VLDB, KR, ISWC, TPLP, and VLDB Journal. 
Several of the systems I have worked on are now widely used in both academic and commercial settings. Lately I have co-founded [[https://www.wrapidity.com|Wrapidity]], a spin-off company of Oxford University.
