WP9. Project management
Objectives
Ensure strategic and daily management of the project.
Description of work
Project management is a permanent activity and starts at the beginning of the project. To ensure the administrative and the technical co-ordination of the project, the work package contains 2 tasks:
TASK 1: Administrative management. (Task Leader UNICAL) The task includes control of the project progress by ensuring
1) administrative and contractual relationships within the project;
2) administrative and contractual interaction with the Commission;
3) management of financial issues and production and co-ordination of the final project report; Furthermore, this task entails such activities as:
1) organization, planning and control of the INFOMIX project;
2) contacts with the Project Officer;
3) proposing financially feasible modifications of the work plan;
4) supervision of contacts with all external organizations interacting with the INFOMIX project;
5) delivery of all types of reports and deliverables;
6) monitoring of the project cash flow;
7) conflict management by application of the pre-defined procedures;
8) constant interaction with the INFOMIX project technical management.

D9.2 - Technology Implementation Plan (Report)
The two plans contain the usual figures and informations according to the standard reporting guidelines of the Commission. This workpackage includes also periodic progress reports required from the Commission.
Milestones and expected results
The project management will ensure careful use of project resources and sound project performance along the guidelines of the Commission, duly reporting to the Project Officer, it will stimulate committed work of all partners towards the project goals and a collaborative way of working.
