Short Description:
The goal of this document is to survey and categorize the most
important methods and existing software in the area of Acquisition
and Transdormation of Heterogenous Data. Doing this, it has to be
borne in mind that the definitive architecture of the INFOMIX system
has not been fixed yet; in particular, the interface between the DAT
and the Internal Integration Level, which is characterized by an
intermediate data format, has not been specified yet.
