Heterogenous data source type description
Short Description:
The purpose of this document is to specify the different heterogeneous
data source types which should be handled by the INFOMIX prototype
system at the DAT layer. It also specifies a homogenized data format at
the source level, the INFOMIX Source Data Format (ISDF), to which data
in the heterogeneous data source formats are converted. This document
serves as a basis for a forthcoming report on methods for data
acquisition and transformation and is furthermore relevant for the
implementation of the INFOMIX prototype.
