Diamante is such a small town that no urban bus lines exist. Moving around is often more convient on foot than with any vehicle (especially in the town center). Some hotels provide a shuttle service, otherwise you may call a taxi.

The Bus from/to Lamezia Terme Airport stops at the Diamante exit of the national road SS18. From there walk down, the city center can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. The railway station is close to the center, to reach the City Hall, just walk down Via Amendola and turn right onto one of the streets near the sea.
By car, coming from the south on SS18, take the exit Diamante/Buonvicino (there is another exit labeled Diamante some 5 km earlier, you will also arrive when you take that, but it takes a bit longer). Just a few meters later, there is a T crossing, go left to Diamante (going right takes you to Buonvicino, it is a dead end street climbing several kms up the mountain). After some 300 meters, you have two choices: 1. turn left, go up until you reach a small square with a roundabout, and continue more or less straight onto Via Benedetto Croce, the City Hall is to the right after about 200m. 2. turn right (crossing a bridge immediately), then immediately left and left again, crossing another bridge, leading you into the old town. Cross it, and upon reaching the sea turn left onto the lungomare. Continue for some 500 meters, and you are next to the City Hall. Coming from the north on SS18, taking the exit Diamante/Buonvicino will lead you directly to the square with the roundabout.
