The group of "La Sapienza" which participated in the project is from the Department
of Computer and
System Sciences, which excels in various areas related to knowledge-based data processing, including data
warehousing, semi-structured data, and, in particular, information integration. The team of
UNIROMA1 mainly contributed on the information integration aspects in general. In the layered solution
approach the main area
of responsibility of UNIROMA1 is the high-level area (Information Service Level) exploiting its strong
experience on Information Integration.
