AVVISO SU INIZIO DEI CORSI II Semestre 2019-2020
Care studentesse e cari studenti,
come probabilmente già sapete, l’erogazione delle lezioni in presenza è stata sospesa fino al 15 Marzo, con Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio. Sulla scorta delle esperienze già maturate in altri atenei italiani (e data l’oggettiva difficoltà nel prevedere quanto a lungo durerà il periodo di emergenza sanitaria), l’Università della Calabria sta promuovendo l’adozione di piattaforme di e-learning che consentono di erogare didattica a distanza. In particolare, la piattaforma scelta dal nostro Ateneo è Microsoft Teams, un software già adottato in grandi atenei a Bologna e Milano, e a cui tutti voi avete liberamente accesso con le vostre credenziali istituzionali (quelle con il codice fiscale che utilizzate per ESSE3).
Il CdS in Informatica ha già avviato nei giorni scorsi alcune sperimentazioni su Teams e, visto l’esito positivo delle prove condotte, sta pensando di attivare già nella prossima settimana insegnamenti in modalità di e-learning. Si partirà dapprima con alcuni insegnamenti “pilota”, per andare a regime con tutti gli insegnamenti online dal 16 Marzo. L’elenco degli insegnamenti online e le istruzioni per partecipare saranno disponibili sul sito Web del CdS nella giornata di Lunedì.
Le lezioni, sebbene online, saranno erogate secondo l’orario (come se fossero tenute in aula). Per seguire le lezioni è sufficiente utilizzare anche il solo web browser (consigliamo Chrome), ma è più efficace l’utilizzo dell’app nativa per il vostro computer/tablet/smartphone:

La prima “lezione” aperta a tutti gli studenti di Informatica, magistrale e triennale, si terrà online il 9 Marzo alle 15:30, e ha lo scopo duplice di verificare insieme a tutti voi l’accesso alla piattaforma e di introdurre le poche regole base per una fruizione ottimale delle lezioni.

Dopo aver installato il software Microsoft Teams, avviatelo e accedete utilizzando l’email istituzionale, e poi selezionate “Partecipa o crea un team” -> “Partecipa a un team con un codice” inserite il codice. Quindi verificate di leggere i post nel canale Generale del corso di prova, per poi riconnettersi e partecipare alla “riunione” il 9 marzo alle 15:30. Una volta connessi disabilitate subito l’invio del video dell’audio dal vostro dispositivo. In caso di dubbi o difficoltà contattatemi pure via email.

Dear students,
as you probably already know, the lessons are suspended until March 15, by Prime Minister's Decree. On the basis of the experiences already gained in other Italian universities (and given the objective difficulty in predicting how long the health emergency period will last), the University of Calabria is promoting the adoption of e-learning platforms that allow to provide distance teaching. In particular, the platform chosen by our University is Microsoft Teams, a software already adopted in Bologna and Milan. You have free access to Teams with your institutional account (those with the tax code you use for ESSE3).
The CdS in Computer Science has already started some experiments on Teams in recent days and, given the positive results of the tests conducted, is planning to activate e-learning lessons already in the next week. We will start first with some "pilot" courses, to get up to speed with all the courses online from March 16th. The list of online courses and instructions to participate will be available on the CdS website on Monday.
The lessons, although online, will be delivered according to the timetable (as if they were held in the classroom). To follow the lessons, simply use the web browser only (we recommend Chrome), but using the native app for your computer / tablet / smartphone is more effective:

The first "lesson" open to all computer science students, both master and bachelor, will be held online on March 9th at 3:30 pm, and has the dual purpose of verifying access to the platform with all of you and introducing the few rules basis for joining the lessons.

After installing the Microsoft Teams software, start it and log in using the institutional email, and then select "Join or create a team" -> "Join a team with a code" enter the code. Then, make sure you read the posts in the General channel of the trial course, then reconnect and participate in the "meeting" on March 9 at 15:30. Once connected, immediately disable audio and video transmission from your device. In case of doubts or difficulties please contact me via email.
