• progressive tenses in the present and past;
• present simple vs. present progressive;
• “going to” future form;
• modal auxiliaries “can/could/will/shall”;
• adjectives (comparatives and superlatives) and adverbs;
• prepositions;
• definite, indefinite and demonstrative articles;
• quantifiers and derivatives of some/any;
• basic midsentence conjunctions;
• relative clauses.
