Third Answer Set Programming Competition - 2011

The Third Answer Set Programming Competition is now open and in the Call for Participation stage. The call for benchmarks is now closed.

  • new_2.gif. Jan 10th, 2010. Modified file and language format specifications. Please have a look at the change log.

  • January 5th, 2011. Released a preliminary problem list.

  • January 2nd, 2011. Participant submission is now open according to the participant submission procedure.

  • January 1st, 2011. Call for benchmark problems is now closed. The preliminary problem list is going to be notified soon.
  • December 27th. Deadline for problems submission is postponed to December, 31th.

  • December 19th. An Integrated Development Environment for developing ASP programs is now available, see Tools and Utilities section.

  • December 18th. The 'shifter' tool is available in the Tools and Utilities section.

  • December 11th. Parsers for ASP-RfC and ASP-Core format (System competition only) available in the Tools and Utilities section.

  • December 7th, 2010. Modified file and language format specifications. Please have a look at the change log.

  • December 6th, 2010. Added a few clarifications to Participation rules.

  • December 1st, 2010. The participant submission procedure is now available.

  • Released a few encoding examples written in ASP-Core and ASP-RfC.

  • Problem selection stage:

    • new_2.gif December 31th, 2010 - Deadline for problem submission

    • January 3th, 2011 - Publication of temporary list of selected benchmarks
    • January 4-10th, 2011 - Submission of accepted benchmarks in finalized version
    • January 10th, 2011 - Publication of the final list of selected problems
  • Competition stage:
    • February 4th, 2011 - Deadline for Systems submission
    • February 5-25th, 2011 - Competition stage
    • May 16th 2011 - Announcement of results and awards at LPNMR 2011 - Vancouver, BC, Canada.
