Expertise: Deformations of algebraic curves and singularities; moduli spaces of curves; Brill-Neother theory; linear systems of curves on smooth projective surfaces.
Research: I am interested in deformations of algebraic curves and singularities; moduli spaces of curves; Brill-Neother theory, linear systems of curves on smooth projective surfaces and related topics. The main subject of my research are Severi varieties of singular curves on smooth projective surfaces. In particular I am involved in a research project on families of singular curves on K3 surfaces with C. Ciliberto (Università di Tor Vergata, Roma), F. Flamini (Università di Tor Vergata, Roma) e A. L. Knutsen (University of Bergen). I partecipate to the Miur research project "PRIN: Geometria delle varietà algebriche" and to the GNSAGA of INDAM.
